Steady as You Fill

Posted by David on

Since the e-liquid that you purchased from The Vape Mall is one of the most crucial parts of using your electronic cigarette or MOD , you need to make sure you fill the liquid straight into the tank. You also need to make sure you don't spill any and that you are filling it correctly. Not doing so can cause you to have many other issues that could end up really costing you in the long run.

The first thing we are going to discuss is making sure you fill the e-liquid directly into the tank. You want to make sure you put the nozzle of the bottle of juice directly against or inside the fill hole. Another thing you need to do is make sure you squirt the liquid towards the side wall. The reason for this is because there is a post in the center that has a hole in it. If you get e-liquid in this post, you will end up flooding the tip of your vape and you will end up getting the liquid in your mouth. In addition, your device might end up gurgling and spitting hot liquid. If you do get juice in the middle, then you can take a paper towel or washcloth and soak up the excess liquid.

The next thing to know about is when you accidentally get e-liquid on the outside of your tank. Not only can this seep into other parts of your device, but it can be a nuisance to clean. One of the worst things that can happen is having your liquid seep into other parts. For example, it can seep into your coils and end up burning them out. It can also seep into your battery compartment and completely fry your device. On the other hand, even though it is annoying, trying to wipe the e-juice off isn't as serious. The reason it is such a nuisance to wipe away is because it is so oily. It takes a while to make sure you get all the residue off.

The final thing to know is that you need to make sure you pay attention to the “fill line” on your vape tank. Different tanks will have different fill lines, so don't assume that all of them are the same. If, for some reason, your tank doesn't have a fill line (which is rare today), just make sure you fill it to the bottom of your wick and not any higher. Filling the tank too much can end up causing leakage and flooding of your mouthpiece. Leakage can end up destroying the rest of your device and flooding of the mouthpiece can end up causing you to get the e-liquid in and around your mouth and lips. This could end up making you swell up and have irritation. On the other hand, not filling it enough can end up making you have dry hits and burnt coils and wicks. If these do burn, you will end up having to change them and dry hits don't taste good at all.

As you can see, having a steady hand and really paying attention to what you are doing is essential when filling your tank. You want to make sure you are taking it serious and not being careless. If you pay attention, you will have a better chance of keeping your electronic cigarette or MOD in great condition and having the perfect hit every time.
