Nicotine salts, also known as salt-based nicotine, is a type of nicotine that is extracted from the tobacco leaf and combined with a substance called benzoic acid that increases the nicotine’s stability. This allows users to enjoy a stronger hit of nicotine without experiencing the harshness that’s associated with freebase nicotine, which is a chemically modified form of nicotine invented by tobacco companies decades ago.
