Best Custard Vape Juice: Vanilla, Brulee and Fruit Custards

Custard is one of the most popular dessert profiles in vaping, and also one of the easiest to get wrong. A good one is rich and smooth, with real vanilla and a soft, eggy body, without tasting flat or sticky-sweet. We mix every bottle fresh to order, so here is a guide to our custard and cream flavors, grouped by style, plus the settings that let you tune a custard to your taste.

What makes a good custard vape

Most custard e-liquids are built from three layers:

  • Vanilla for the aroma and sweetness.
  • The custard body, the rich, slightly eggy note that separates custard from plain vanilla.
  • Cream to smooth everything out and add weight on the exhale.

From there, a creme brulee adds caramelized sugar, and fruit custards layer berries or other fruit over the top. If you know which layer you like most, it is much easier to pick a bottle.

Classic vanilla custards

Vanilla Custard

Our original Vanilla Custard is smooth, rich and creamy, a satisfying all-day dessert vape. Choose it if you like a traditional custard with the classic egg note.

Vanilla Custard v2

Vanilla Custard v2 is our smoother, creamier take, a little sweeter and with less eggy flavor than the original. It is a fan favorite. If the original reads too “eggy” for you, this is the one to try.

Creme Brulee

Creme Brulee is rich custard topped with a layer of hard caramelized sugar, for a smooth, sweet dessert vape.

Fruit custards

  • Strawberry Custard: rich, creamy custard with a layer of sweet strawberries.
  • Strawberry Custard v2: our newer take, with two types of strawberry mixed into three types of custard and cream.
  • Raspberry Custard: raspberries draped in sweet, creamy vanilla custard.
  • Blueberry Custard: rich custard with a layer of sweet blueberries.

Creams and custard-style desserts

If you like the creamy side of custard more than the egg, these are worth a look:

  • Bavarian Cream: rich, sweet and smooth, with a custardy feel.
  • Banana Cream Pie: ripe banana and vanilla cream in a buttery pie crust.
  • Cheesecake, plus Cherry, Blueberry and Strawberry Cheesecake: creamy cheesecake on a graham crust.
  • Tres Leches: fluffy vanilla sponge cake soaked in three kinds of cream.
  • Caramel Cream: buttery caramel folded into smooth, sweet cream.
  • Strawberries & Cream: ripe strawberries dipped in two types of cream.

See them all in our custards and creams e-liquid category.

For the holidays: eggnog and deep vanilla

Eggnog is essentially a drinkable custard, which makes our Eggnog a natural pick for custard fans in winter: creamy, spiced and rich. If vanilla is your favorite part of a custard, try Madagascar Vanilla, a dark, aromatic vanilla infused with bourbon, or French Vanilla, smooth and lightly sweet.

How to tune a custard to your taste

Because we mix to order, every flavor page gives you options that change how a custard vapes:

  • PG/VG mix. Custards feel richest in VG-heavy mixes such as 25% PG / 75% VG or Max VG, if your device is a sub-ohm tank that can wick thick liquid. For pods and pens, stay with our standard 50/50 or go higher in PG.
  • Extra Flavor. Choose 15% or 35% extra flavor if you vape at high wattage or find creams taste thin.
  • Add Sweetener. This is good for a bakery-style custard. Sweetener can build up on coils faster, so expect to change coils more often.
  • Add Menthol. If you like a cool finish, you can add menthol to any custard.

Build your own custard blend

With Custom E-Juice you can combine up to five of our flavors in one bottle. Some combinations to try: Vanilla Custard v2 with Caramel Cream, Creme Brulee with French Vanilla, or Strawberry Custard with Whipped Cream. You can add details in the order notes if you want a particular balance.

Let it rest: custards and steeping

Your bottle is mixed when you order it, so it arrives fresh rather than aged on a shelf. Creamy and custard flavors often taste fuller after resting for several days to a week or two. Keep the cap on, store the bottle in a cool, dark place, and give it a shake every day or so. If a new custard tastes a little sharp or thin at first, give it time before you judge it.

Try several custards at once

Custards are personal: some people want the egg and some want pure cream. Our 32ml five-bottle sample pack lets you pick any five flavors at one strength and mix, for example Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Custard v2, Creme Brulee, Strawberry Custard v2 and Bavarian Cream. Add-ons such as sweetener or menthol apply to all five bottles in a pack.

Custard vape juice FAQ

What is the difference between Vanilla Custard and Vanilla Custard v2?

v2 is smoother and creamier, a little sweeter, and has less of the eggy note than our original Vanilla Custard. The original keeps more of the classic egg-custard note.

Why does custard e-liquid taste better after a few days?

The flavor components in rich, creamy recipes take time to blend together after mixing. A few days to a couple of weeks in a cool, dark place, with an occasional shake, usually rounds them out.

What PG/VG ratio is best for custard vape juice?

For sub-ohm tanks, a VG-heavy mix such as 25% PG / 75% VG or Max VG gives the thickest, creamiest vapor. For pods and pen-style kits, use 50/50 or a higher-PG mix so the juice wicks properly.

Can I make my own custard e-liquid?

Yes. Our flavor concentrates include Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Custard v2, Creme Brulee and our fruit custards. Our guide to how to make vape juice covers the ratios and the math.
