3 Advanced Methods to Keep Your E-Liquid Supply Lasting Longer

Vape Juice Lasting Longer

If you’ve noticed that you are going through e-liquid like there is no tomorrow, you have probably wondered if there isn’t some way to get your supply to last longer. The truth is that while there are several techniques that you can try, you’ll have to make some compromises, or just blend your own e-juice if your concerns are about cost rather than consumption per se.

Advanced Method #1: Raise Your Ohms
Sub-Ohm vaping can be great because it gives you more vapor, intense flavor, and a bigger throat hit, but it uses up a lot of liquid in the process. The reasons why should be obvious - creating more vapor uses up more juice, period. There’s no real workaround if you enjoy the experience of sub-ohming, so it might be good if you either consider mixing your own like we mentioned earlier or switch to cheaper ones. It’s unfortunate, but if you like gigantic clouds, you’ll have to live with the fact that you will be consuming more e-juice at the end of the day, no matter what. Raising the Ohms will mean thinner, cooler clouds at the end of the day, which doesn’t satisfy everyone. One thing to try is having a “daytime” device as well as a “night” one - use a higher Ohms coil (above 1 Ohm at least, but the higher the Ohms, the less you’ll use) during the day to satisfy that desire to vape without going so heavy on the juice, and keep your sub-ohm setup limited to nighttime use so that you can still have that satisfying vape before bed.

Advanced Method #2: Lower Your Wattage
Lowering the wattage on your vaping device will have a similar effect on conserving your e-liquid supply, as raising the Ohms, for much the same reason - less heat is produced by the coil, which means that you’re consuming less. If you like sub-ohming and don’t want to give it up, you can try lowering the wattage. This’ll definitely help conserve battery life as well, but can help reduce juice consumption if you can find a satisfying balance - admittedly, it’s a compromise. You can play around with your settings a bit to find the best balance that works for you, but you don’t need to use high-power, low-ohms settings all the time.

Final Advanced Method: Use a Stronger E-Liquid
If you absolutely don’t want to give up on the experience of voluminous clouds whenever you vape, you could always go for a stronger e-juice so that you end up vaping less often. The downside of higher nicotine content is that it’ll feel harsher on your throat, especially if you are sub-ohming.

Using less e-juice ultimately means figuring out how to consume less of it one way or the other, and you’ll have to compromise in some way or the other at the end of the day. There are basically only two ways to go about reducing your e-juice consumption at the end of the day - figuring out how to get yourself to vape less often, or giving up big clouds. If you don’t want to make compromises and just want to save some money, then consider mixing your own e-juice instead.
